OpenFCC is a digital product delivered instantly. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are and are not available. By completing a purchase you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this policy.

1. Digital Goods Are Generally Final

Because OpenFCC is delivered digitally and instantly, all sales are generally final. Once a download link or license key has been issued to you, the purchase is considered fulfilled and is not eligible for a refund, except as expressly set out below or as required by applicable law.

2. Check Compatibility Before You Buy

Please confirm that your drone is supported before purchasing. Review our Compatibility page to verify your model. Purchasing for an unsupported drone is not, by itself, grounds for a refund once the license has been issued.

3. EU Consumers — Waiver of the Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases. However, for digital content supplied without a tangible medium, this right is lost once performance has begun with your prior express consent.

By completing your purchase and accessing the digital download or license key, you expressly consent to immediate performance of the contract and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU) as implemented in [Jurisdiction]. No refund is available once the download link or license key has been accessed.

4. Exceptions

We will review refund requests in the following limited circumstances:

  • Genuinely non-functional product. If the Software cannot be activated or does not function on a supported drone due to a defect on our side, and we are unable to resolve the issue after reasonable troubleshooting.
  • Duplicate charge. If you were charged more than once for the same order due to a billing error.

To request a refund under these exceptions, contact us via our Support page with your order details. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method; processing times depend on the payment provider.

5. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
